On Nov 18, 2022, Simcere Pharmaceutical Group donated 5 million RMB to the Jiangsu Provincial Charity Federation to support charitable public welfare projects, including tools to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic, revitalizing rural areas, and helping low-income individuals to access to medical treatments.

Over the past two years, Simcere has actively participated in social welfare events, including donating money, supplies and medicines to emergencies during COVID 19 outbreak and Henan rainstorm disaster.
In the fight against the COVID 19 pandemic, Simcere employees have been brave enough to be the "heroes in harm's way" by volunteering to join the medical staff in quarantined areas to fight against the disease. Simcere manufacturing team worked 24*7 to produce drugs urgently needed for COVID 19 treatment, even during the spring festival.
According to statistics, since 2020, Simcere has donated a total of about 50 million yuan to public welfare, taking practical action to convey love and show corporate responsibility.
