July 10, 2026 – Simcere Pharmaceutical Group (2096.HK) today announced that it has entered into a global drug discovery and development collaboration with Schrödinger, Inc. to advance an innovative program based on unmet clinical needs and Simcere’s therapeutic area expertise.

Schrödinger, leveraging its industry-leading physics-based platform and expertise, will lead computational drug design and optimization for the joint research collaboration. Simcere will lead subsequent preclinical and clinical development following completion of the joint discovery phase. Schrödinger is eligible to receive discovery, development and commercial milestones for all programs in the collaboration, as well as tiered royalties on net sales.
